It obviously works with Windows 10 if it has the right driver. Please don't suggest that I just pitch the printer and get a new one. Is there a driver that will work? I really need to be able to use the duplex and printer-tray selection functionality.
It finally found the printer using the 'Find with IP address' option, but there apparently isn't an HP driver available anymore. I might add that all of these laptops had the printer driver installed before the latest Windows Creator update, and I haven't had any problemsĪnd then along comes the Probook (which is actually running Win10 Pro) which I just got and am just starting to get set up to use. These four laptops have the correct native driver for the HP 6980 - with all functionality for that printer, meaning I can set which tray to default, duplex print, etc. I have an HP 6980 wirelessly connected to four other laptops - 3 are various models of HP, one is a Lenovo which my company makes me use two HPs were upgraded from Win 8 to Win 10, the other two came with Win 10 installed.
